Abbeville

Abbeville is a town and commune in the Somme department in (Picardy) (French: (la) Picardie) in northern France. It is on the Somme, being the town downstream of the main town on the river, Amiens and surrounded by agricultural country with the Bay of the Somme and Forest of Crecy 10 kilometres west-north-west and north-by-north-west respectively.
